The Sugarshack is so called because it began with small 'sugarcube' paintings, works painted on tiny wooden panels, small works on paper and cigarette boxes, self-termed 'handbag art', initially designed for frictionless international travel for exhibition in Toronto. Their tiny scale prompts an intimacy; you can hold the work in your hand, you need to view it up close, peer harder to see. 

Each month, I share new work from my studio; new imagery, techniques, concepts and processes that inform my work. Each will be available for a short time and can be given or received by post. All works are one-offs, signed, titled, dated and archival mounted where apt.
